While Europe's high cost of living is no exception in London, the school running this project is operated in a way that provides educational opportunities to more students. To reduce the financial burden while allowing participants to receive quality education, we have implemented a reasonable tuition policy that takes tuition and living expenses into account, and activities and social programs are flexibly designed as paid or free so participants can choose to take part, allowing adjustments to match budgets and learning goals. The UK government operates a strict accreditation system to provide students who come to learn English with reliable, quality-assured English education. To receive such accreditation, institutions must meet high standards in areas such as the professionalism of classes, teacher qualifications, and the learning environment, and must create a learning environment that allows students to focus safely, including accommodation such as dormitories or homestays for international students and a 24-hour helpline for emergencies. Our school uses smart boards and multimedia materials in state-of-the-art classrooms,a teaching method that makes learning English enjoyableWe aim for this. From those who have never studied English to those with some experience, classes are organized so that everyone can attend lessons suited to their level.
Each time a test is taken,individual feedback is providedand, based on test results and accumulated learning data from monitoring,reports are provided mid-course and at the end of the courseThese reports allow students to review their learning goals and achievements. Additionally, teachers use student data to provide the next learning objectives and personalized guidelines.
For an experience beyond classroom lessons,we run two or more activities and social programs each weekThese allow students to immediately use the English learned in class by interacting with friends, enriching their expression and making life in London more enjoyable.

■ Activities and Social Programs (Optional)
- These are extracurricular activities that you can choose to participate in locally.
- They are held at least twice a week and include a variety of free or paid programs (approximately 7,000 KRW to 70,000 KRW).

■Additional Information
- Every MondayThis project starts every Monday, and you can join on your preferred schedule.
- Class hours: choose between 20 lessons per week (semi-intensive) or 40 lessons per week (intensive).
- Before the project begins,an online level testwill be taken and you will be placed in the appropriate level after completing it.
- On the first day of class, anorientationwill be held. For the orientation, we recommend arriving by 8:15 AM.
- Each class hasan average of 14 students and up to 16 studentsper class,in a comfortable and bright atmospherewhere classes are conducted.

- Classes will not be held on public holidays and during the year-end and New Year holidays.
* On average, Korean participants make up 10% or less, and participants come from various countries around the world, including Latin America.

Support details
The school runs a variety of activities and social programs in London every week. After class, join these programs to explore every corner of London with your friends and show off the English skills you learned in class! You might also enjoy London’s nightlife with friends over a beer at a local pub.
*Details about activities and social programs will be provided locally, and certain costs such as transportation, entrance fees, meals, and participation fees may apply depending on the program.

The school where the project takes place is an English language school accredited by the British Council*, and all teachers hold CELTA* or TESOL* qualifications and have extensive experience teaching international students. They foster a positive learning environment with a friendly and approachable attitude to help students achieve the English skills and goals they desire.
Housed in a single building with a well-maintained garden, the campus features modern classrooms, a small library, lounges, and a cafeteria. In addition to classes, a variety of activities allow students to experience London culture more deeply and provide an environment where they can naturally interact with others.
It is located in central London, near the British Museum. Bus stops and tube stations are within a 5–10 minute walk, so after classes you can freely enjoy London life with friends or on your own.
* British Council: The UK organization that oversees international public education and cultural affairs. Because the British Council's accreditation process is rigorous, being accredited signifies endorsement by a reputable authority.
* CELTA: Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults: a teaching qualification for English as a foreign language issued and accredited by the University of Cambridge.
* TESOL: Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages: a training program and qualification for preparing teachers to teach English to people whose native language is not English.
A message from the local institution representative
In London, UK, the concept of 'Zone' is used to divide areas, starting from Zone 1 at the innermost circle. Most tourist attractions are concentrated in Zones 1–2 and Heathrow Airport is located in Zone 6.The school where the project is being carried out is located in Zone 1, the central area of London.

House share
The school has its own student-only dormitory house. The house, consisting of two single rooms and two double rooms, is located in a residential area in Camberwell, Zone 2. There is a nearby Tesco supermarket, and public transport is convenient—it's about a 50–60 minute journey to the city-center school by walking and bus (no transfers). It is the most popular accommodation among Korean students and is clean and safe.
- A designated host handles check-in/check-out and overall management of the accommodation and is available for communication.
- You will share the kitchen, living room, and bathroom with multinational housemates. Please bring your own toiletries and personal towels.
- Double rooms are assigned to same-gender occupants.

* House shares are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and are popular, so they often fill up quickly. If you would like one, we recommend applying at least 4–6 months in advance.

Homestay
Accommodation where you live with a local family in a local home. You can learn about the local culture and real English used in everyday life. You can choose options such as location (Zone) and meals according to your lifestyle and financial situation, and placement will be arranged according to the options you select.
- The base price is for Zone 4, no meals included, single occupancy.
* You can choose a homestay in Zone 2 or Zone 3, and there is an option to include breakfast.

General Accommodation Information
- Check-in is on Sunday and check-out is on Saturday. (1 week = 6 nights, 7 days)
- A security deposit is paid when you first move in and will be returned upon check-out.
- Christmas holiday period (mid-December to early January each year) and the summer peak season (June to August each year) Additional charges apply for accommodation.

The United Kingdom is familiar to us through many films and TV shows. Its capital, London, is the center of politics, economy, culture, and transportation, and is counted among the world’s three major cities along with New York and Tokyo. In fact, as the birthplace of capitalism and the Industrial Revolution, London, together with New York’s Wall Street, serves as the heart of the global financial market. Having developed for 2,000 years along the River Thames, you can see London’s past and present throughout the city, from the elegant Buckingham Palace to the stylish London Eye. In addition, because world-class education is offered and academic research is actively conducted, many people come to London for language study and higher education.

In the UK, the subway iscalled the Tube (Tube)Its official name is the London Underground, but in everyday speech it is called the Tube. The Piccadilly Line connects to Heathrow Airport and passes by major tourist sites, and there is a station on this line within a six-minute walk from the school. - People who want to enjoy cultural activities in central London and practice English outside the classroom in a fun way
■ Installment Payment Information
If it is difficult to pay in full, you may prepay a registration fee of KRW 500,000 and pay the remaining balance within 2 weeks. From the date the registration fee is paid, the process to confirm project participation will begin and availability (TO) will be checked. Securing your spot quickly is important if you want to participate on your desired dates and for your desired period! (No refunds once participation is confirmed)
* However, if the start date is imminent, the schedule for the remaining payment may change depending on the circumstances.
■ Early-bird Discount and Urgent Application Information
We recommend applying for all Gap Year projects at least three months before the project start date to allow for normal processing and preparation; as a rule, applications should be submitted no later than two months prior. If unavoidable circumstances arise or you urgently need to join a project, you may pay an additional fee for the expedited application service to help speed up processing as much as possible.
* We assist with expedited processing as much as possible, but there is necessary time required for communication with local organizations and for confirming participation, and all procedures are conducted the same as for regular participants, soparticipants using the expedited application service must actively cooperate with the Korea Gap Year operations teamYou are required to do so.
** Applicants who apply at least 180 days before the start date are eligible for an early-bird discount.
