PROJECT INTRODUCTION
This is a project where you can study English and receive job support for a working holiday in Sydney, Australia's largest city. If you want to have a successful working holiday, this is the project for you!
1. Successfully improve your English skills, make international friends, and adapt quickly all at once!
If you thought that just by going on a working holiday, you'd automatically learn English and make international friends, you're very mistaken! In reality, if you don't study English, you'll only use basic words and sentences, and your skills won't improve. A working holiday can be a great way to gain English proficiency, make friends, find a job, and save money if you prepare properly. But if you go without proper preparation, you may not achieve any of these goals.
That's why we've designed this project to help you succeed on your working holiday! In addition to regular classes, we offer free conversation and writing clubs in the afternoons, as well as various activities to help you make friends and improve your English skills quickly and effectively. With a solid foundation in English and a network of friends in Australia, you'll be able to adapt to life in Australia more easily and enjoy your working holiday to the fullest.
2. Get your resume reviewed and succeed in job hunting! Opportunities range from cafes to farms in 4-star or higher hotels.
One of the biggest advantages of this project is that it provides time for resume revision, which is essential for job hunting! Every Thursday, you'll have the opportunity to review your English resume and practice English interviews, improving your job-hunting skills in English.
During your one-year working holiday, you could save up to 20 million KRW, even after covering all your expenses like airfare, project costs, accommodation, and transportation. No more blindly wandering around in search of a job, only to have your resume rejected repeatedly. Instead, attend a school where you can quickly and safely exchange job information and start saving money! (*The amount you can save may vary depending on your personal expenses, job performance, and job position.)
3. Sydney, the city with the highest minimum wage in the world!
Sydney, as the largest city in Australia, offers the most opportunities. There are plenty of jobs in the service industry, and job hunting is easier here compared to other places. Moreover, Australia has the highest minimum wage in the world (as of 2024, about 19,000 KRW), and on weekends or holidays, you earn double pay. So even if you only earn the minimum wage, you can save a lot of money. Therefore, it's in your best interest to secure a job as quickly as possible in a safe, guaranteed environment.
Additionally, Sydney is well-connected with frequent flights and buses to major cities like Melbourne and Brisbane, making it a great starting point for your working holiday. Take the opportunity to start your successful working holiday in the heart of Australia, Sydney! (Remember, opportunities come to those who are prepared. Let's get ready with Gap Year!)

■ Tips! Characteristics of Jobs in Australia ① Hotels and Resorts: You will work at 4-star or higher hotels and resorts across Australia. You will be responsible for tasks like room cleaning, laundry, customer service, and cafeteria work. ② Farms and Factories: There is a high demand for labor, and only intermediate English skills are required, so finding a job is not difficult. Although the work is hard, you can earn an average of $600 to $800 (AUD) per week. Additionally, by working at certain farms and factories for a certain period, you can apply for a second-year visa to stay in Australia for up to two years. ③ Cafes and Restaurants: In cafes and restaurants in Sydney, you can generally work for a guaranteed minimum wage. Intermediate or higher English skills are required for job search, and sometimes certifications like barista, latte art, or wine certifications are needed. |

“This is the best school to learn practical English, meet new people, and create precious memories! The teachers I met were really wonderful. Besides learning English, I also learned survival skills for living in Sydney, such as writing resumes, making polite requests, or declining offers. I highly recommend studying here!"
"I must say, this school is truly amazing. The classes were dynamic, and the teachers were truly engaged in teaching. I especially want to thank my teacher, who taught so well that I enjoyed participating in the class a lot! I also appreciated that my teacher always noticed how I was progressing :)”
“This school genuinely welcomes and values its students. After completing my 6-month journey successfully, I want to say how impressed I was by the warmth and dedication of the teachers. Additionally, the atmosphere in the class is really great. They make potentially boring topics interesting, which enhances student participation and communication during lessons. I’m truly happy to feel like a part of the school’s family. I wholeheartedly recommend it!”
Highly recommended by the Gap Year planner!! The intention behind the project planning, developed and overseen by the planner
Start your working holiday with ease! This project is designed to reduce the burden for first-time travelers staying abroad for an extended period or for those who are anxious about starting a working holiday alone.
Upon arrival, you may be overwhelmed by English all day, confused about complex tax issues, or it may take three days just to open a bank account... Paying rent might be different from Korea... Adapting to a new country is tough, and if you don't find a job quickly, you might end up working for less than the minimum wage out of anxiety. How well you settle in during the first 1-3 months can be crucial to avoiding these issues.
This project is designed to help you study English while adapting to life in a new country, solving the initial hurdles and tedious tasks with ease. We encourage you to start your working holiday in Australia with confidence! |

INSTITUTION INTRODUCTION
ACCOMMODATION INTRODUCTION
Accommodation is an additional option and can be chosen according to personal preference. If you wish, we can book accommodation connected to the school, and additional costs may apply depending on the options chosen. Generally, when choosing a language school in Australia for a working holiday, students select a homestay for 4 to 12 weeks to quickly settle in and improve their language skills. Once settled, they often choose hostels based on their budget or preference. |
■ Homestay
Experience living with an Australian family, learn about Australian culture in depth, and create meaningful memories while communicating in English with your host family! Homestays are the most popular accommodation option among students because they provide support from the host family during the initial settlement in Australia. Most homestay families are located in the suburbs, about 30-60 minutes by public transportation from the city center, and possibly longer depending on the location.
