LOCATION INTRODUCTION
Location : Santiago, Chile
Chile is a leading economic power in Latin America, with an average GDP per capita nearing $20,000. The language school is located in Santiago, the capital of Chile. Santiago is a city that combines the relaxed charm of South America with the modern appeal of a large metropolis. It is also a great opportunity for those dreaming of becoming global talents due to its dynamic economic growth.
The language school is about an hour away from Santiago Airport by bus. Located on the opposite side of the world from Korea, the spring season is from September to November, and autumn weather is from February to April. Like our country, it has four seasons, preserving its beautiful natural environment.
1. Santiago Cathedral
Santiago Cathedral is located on the west side of Plaza de Armas. It began construction in 1541 when Valdivia established Santiago and opened its doors in 1558. The cathedral has been rebuilt due to fires and earthquakes. Inside the cathedral, there are many religious artifacts and paintings. A magnificent cathedral that you cannot take in at a glance, Santiago Cathedral holds thousands of years of history. Visit this place yourself!
2. Pre-Columbian Art Museum
The Pre-Columbian Art Museum is a must-visit when you go to Santiago, Chile. It is a representative museum of Chile, exhibiting indigenous folk art. Especially famous is the statue of Agustin from Colombia, designated as a World Heritage. You can view cultures and artifacts from before the Inca civilization. Though small, it is a valuable museum that vividly conveys ancient Peruvian culture. Let's all go to the Pre-Columbian Art Museum!
3. Nueva York Street
A top travel destination in Santiago, Chile, is Nueva York Street. This street resembles Wall Street in New York and is home to the stock exchange and the social club Union, which has produced many Chilean presidents, housed in buildings of 1920s French Neoclassical style. Lined with antique buildings, Nueva York Street showcases the hidden economic power of Chile in South America. How about visiting this unique economic center of South America?
