- A customized course is provided through an online level test from your home country to match your level at the local school, from basic to advanced levels.
- Class hours are approximately 20 hours per week.
- In addition to classes, there are daily projects, listening, grammar, reading, and writing assignments that require English use.
- Classes are conducted in small groups of an average of 13 students, providing ample participation opportunities for each student (maximum 18 students).
- There are 5 levels, and participants are reassigned to classes matching their level through monthly tests.
- Class schedules are arranged based on the level test results: Beginner classes are usually in the afternoon (13:20~17:45), and intermediate to advanced classes are in the morning (08:50~13:15).

INSTITUTION INTRODUCTION
All classes at our institution are registered with the Australian government *CRICOS. We are also recognized by the National ELT Accreditation Scheme (NEAS) and the International Association of Language Centres (IALC), which are prestigious accrediting bodies. As a result of the efforts of our faculty and staff to provide high-quality education, we have gained popularity among international students worldwide and were selected as Victoria's Best School in 2013 and 2014. Our teaching staff consists of experienced TESOL educators, many of whom also serve as Cambridge ESOL and IELTS examiners. To ensure high-quality education, we implement a small class size of 13 students per class.
CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students)
This refers to officially recognized educational institutions for international students registered with the Australian government. Registered institutions are closely monitored by the government and are required to maintain a certain level of educational quality. Both the federal and state governments of Australia rigorously manage each institution's individual programs.
ONLY ENGLISH ZONE
Our institution strictly enforces the English-only policy (Only English Zone) on campus. We also limit the student ratio from each country to 25-30% (with Korean students' ratio at 15% or less), creating an environment where students from various countries naturally communicate in English. This system helps improve students' English skills rapidly and is positively reviewed by current and former students.
ACCOMMODATION INTRODUCTION
Participants can freely choose accommodations in Melbourne based on their preferences and budget. For those having trouble finding accommodation, Korea Gap Year will connect them with places near Melbourne where they can stay with language school students. |
The accommodations where the project takes place are ideal for starting a stable life upon arrival in Melbourne. Located in a residential area just above the city center, you can enjoy a peaceful rest. Imagine the upcoming Melbourne life with the cool night air from the rooftop cafeteria.
■ Homestay
The homestay accommodation is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour from the project location. On weekdays, two meals a day (breakfast and dinner) are provided, and on weekends, three meals a day are provided. Breakfast and lunch are self-catered at the homestay, while dinner is provided as a cooked meal. Experience daily life in English at a local Australian home.

If you are unable to pay the full amount, please make an advance payment of 500,000 KRW and settle the remaining amount within 2 weeks. The process for confirming your participation will begin from the date of the advance payment, and we will check availability and TO. It is important to secure your spot early to participate on your preferred date and period! (No refunds once participation is confirmed)

■ Early Bird Discount and Emergency Application Information
All Gap Year projects are recommended to apply at least 3 months before the project start date due to the normal processing procedures and preparation period. The principle is to apply no later than 2 months before the start date. However, if there is an urgent need to participate in the project, you can use the emergency application service to pay an additional fee for faster processing.
* While we will assist with the fastest possible processing, there is a basic amount of time required for communication with local agencies and for confirming participation. Since all procedures are the same as for regular participants, those using the emergency application service must actively cooperate with the Korea Gap Year operation team.
