The Vancouver English camp provides students with enjoyable opportunities to immerse themselves in English and creates an environment full of diverse experiences. Especially, the teachers, who have extensive experience teaching kids, understand what students need and how to teach English effectively.
Additionally, through various weekly activities, students can use the English learned in class in real-life situations, gaining confidence, and enjoy Vancouver's rich tourist attractions while making unforgettable memories with friends. During the camp, students will stay with local Canadian families in a homestay arrangement. The carefully selected host families all speak English, so students will continue to be in an English-speaking environment even after classes. PROJECT ACTIVITIES
This project is a youth English camp taking place in Vancouver, Canada. Spend your summer vacation in Vancouver, where you can enjoy warm sunshine, cool weather, diverse cultures, and beautiful nature all at once while improving your English skills!
Depending on the age of the participants, there are youth camps (ages 13-17) and children's camps (ages 9-12).
▶ Youth Camp (ages 13-17)
Participants will learn essential English skills for daily life in an environment that allows them to fully immerse in English. Rapid skill improvement can be expected through various practical tasks, and a systematic curriculum ensures effective English study. This is also a great opportunity for students preparing to study in Canada or the US to experience Canadian learning methods beforehand.
The youth camp includes a level test before the project starts, and the content of the afternoon classes varies according to the participants' English levels. During this time, participants can develop leadership skills that are helpful in life and learn communication skills. Don’t miss out on the chance to grow into a global leader while interacting with friends from around the world!
▶ Children's Camp (ages 9-12)
This English camp in Vancouver allows children to create special memories with friends from around the world. Participants will experience Canadian local culture and improve their English skills through fun and engaging activities.
Teachers experienced with children conduct age-appropriate classes, effectively developing speaking, listening, writing, and reading skills. Participants can quickly become accustomed to using English in daily life by practicing what they learn in class.

* Children under 12 cannot travel to Canada without a guardian. Either a guardian must accompany them or be present in Canada for camp participation. Additionally, if no adult guardian accompanies the child from Korea, UM service (Unaccompanied Minor Service) must be requested from the airline.

For those who cannot pay the full amount, you can pay a registration fee of 500,000 KRW in advance and settle the remaining balance within 2 weeks. Based on the date of registration fee payment, we will proceed with the process to confirm your participation and availability. It is crucial to secure your spot early to participate on your preferred date and duration! (No refunds once confirmed)
* However, if the start date is approaching, the schedule for the remaining balance payment may vary depending on the situation.

It is recommended to apply at least 3 months before the project start date for all Gap Year projects to allow for normal processing and preparation. The principle is to apply at least 2 months before the project start date. However, if urgent participation is necessary, we offer an urgent application service where additional fees apply to expedite the process.
* Although we strive to expedite the process, there are basic times required for communication with local agencies and confirmation of participation, so those using the urgent application service must actively cooperate with the Korea Gap Year Operations Team.
