PROJECT INTRODUCTION
This project is a animal care volunteer activity taking place in Rome, Italy.
You may have experienced calling out to a cat you encountered on the street with a friendly "Hi there~," or waved happily at a dog on a walk, and felt joy seeing these animal friends. If you remember how adorable and endearing these encounters were, this project could bring you great joy and happiness.
Spend time with cute and lovable animal friends and create warm-hearted memories!
In animal shelters in Rome, Italy, there is a lot of effort to take care of animal friends. To develop social skills in animals before they are adopted into new homes, volunteers spend time with them, take them for walks, and ensure the shelter is kept clean and safe for the animals.
No special experience is needed to play with animal friends! All you need is a love for animals. You just need to be ready to embrace the friends who come into your arms with love, pet the friends who long for human touch with care, and be prepared to help the more fearful friends open their hearts again.
As you bond with the animals, you may find yourself receiving more love in return than you gave.
What is needed for a challenge away from familiar surroundings? When you start to think about it, it seems like many things are required, and you might wonder if you can really do it.
However, at the animal shelter in Rome, Italy, what is needed is just a love for animals! With just this love, you can perform your role well and become friendly with fellow volunteers. Gain small experiences of challenges and successes through this project. You will surely gain greater courage.
When maintaining relationships with people in daily life, there are times when we create unfamiliar versions of ourselves. We often hide parts of ourselves and put on a facade that looks fine. But when spending time with animal friends, you reveal your true self. To connect with animals who do not understand words, you need to show your genuine self.
Reflect on and honestly confront yourself that you have kept hidden. If you get to know yourself a little better, you may discover a path of growth that leads to positive outcomes.
"I need to change!" In the movie Eat Pray Love, the protagonist says this and chooses Rome, Italy, as the first destination on her journey to find herself. There, she enjoys a variety of Italian tastes, from fragrant cappuccinos and tomato spaghetti to Neapolitan pizza and gelato, and finds a time of recovery to regain her passion for life.
If you need change, and want to regain lost dreams and passion, choose Rome! In this city of fine dining and art, filled with friendly people who know how to enjoy a relaxed life, you will encounter the change that will transform your life.
