PROJECT INTRODUCTION
This is a volunteer project in Barcelona, Spain, where you will support after-school activities at a local NGO, helping underprivileged children and youth in the community become self-sufficient. Barcelona is a city that captivates travelers with its beautiful architecture, tourist attractions, stunning beaches, and passionate people. However, beneath the surface, the growing gap between rich and poor means that many children still lose educational opportunities due to poverty. Additionally, the rapid increase in immigrants has led to more immigrant families, and currently, there are many children in Spain who do not receive family care. While these children can attend school, they are in environments where they need a lot of help to continue learning and nurturing their dreams. Through your small abilities, become a hero for these children, helping them see a broader world and grow their dreams!

* The above are examples of activities, which will be conducted under the guidance of local staff.
The specific content may vary depending on the participant's willingness and abilities, as well as local circumstances.
■ English Proficiency ★★ ☆☆☆
Since English is mainly used to communicate with local staff and volunteers, you will be in an English-speaking environment. Common areas include a dining room, living room, balcony, outdoor space, terrace, and laundry facilities, providing a modern yet comfortable atmosphere. The hostel is located in one of the vibrant areas of Barcelona, making it very convenient to explore the city during your free time. The nearby FC Barcelona stadium and various restaurants, shops, and amenities make it a convenient place to stay. It takes approximately 30 to 50 minutes by public transport to reach the activity locations, with the exact time varying depending on the specific location. During the project, the hostel’s restaurant will provide two meals a day (breakfast and lunch) with fresh Spanish ingredients. (Including weekends) Dinner can be prepared by the volunteers themselves using ingredients purchased at local markets, or you can choose to eat at nearby local restaurants.
* The accommodation is in a shared dormitory room. If you prefer a private room, upgrades are available upon request and can be arranged by contacting us individually (additional costs apply)
