Location
Taiwan is a place where towering skyscrapers coexist with ancient temples, showcasing a blend of the past and present. The surfing program takes place along the southern and eastern coasts, where small, ancient temples, plains, farms, and fisheries create a harmonious landscape. Escape the busy everyday life of urban civilization and heal your mind by enjoying true relaxation in the beautiful natural surroundings.

Organization
This top-rated surf school, recommended by many from the US, Europe, and Asia, is located on the southern and eastern coasts of Taiwan, where the past is well-preserved. With instructors from Australia, classes are conducted in English, so you won’t face any language barriers. In addition to professional and detailed level-based lessons, such as the basics of surfing, reading waves, and proper stance, the surf school also offers various activities like BBQ parties, ocean museum tours, and more with participants from different countries.

Programs and Activities
The program includes surfing lessons and activities conducted in English.

Since it’s a sports activity, as long as you have a basic understanding of English, language won’t be a significant barrier to participating in the program. This program is conducted in groups of three, and you can join if you have a group of three or more.

 

Surfing Theory Lessons
You’ll receive theoretical education about surfing, which includes photos and videos to provide you with a comprehensive understanding before you experience surfing firsthand.

Surfing Practice Lessons
Based on the theory learned earlier, you’ll head out to the sea with an instructor to feel the wind and waves and practice surfing directly.

Afternoon Optional Activities
You can choose one of the following options to experience: visiting an ocean museum, snorkeling, diving, hiking, visiting traditional villages, exploring local markets, fishing, biking, touring ancient ruins, or visiting a surfboard workshop.

-Surfboard Workshop Tour
You’ll observe the process of creating a surfboard, including selecting materials, shaping, and painting.

-Visit to Taiwan’s National Museum of Marine Science & Technology
Tour the museum where you can see a variety of marine life, including penguins and whales, and learn about the marine environment.

-BBQ Party
After a day of activities, enjoy a fun BBQ party with friends from various countries and your instructors.

Kaohsiung Confucius Temple
This grand and majestic temple, built in the architectural style of the Song Dynasty, is the largest Confucian temple in Taiwan. Inside, there is a bronze relief of Confucius, the greatest philosopher of China, near the arched bridge. On Teacher’s Day, September 28th, a ceremony is held here to commemorate Confucius’s birthday. Another must-see attraction in Kaohsiung is the statues of the Dragon and Tiger in front of the temple. According to legend, those who enter through the dragon’s mouth and exit through the tiger’s mouth will be blessed with good fortune. Visit the Kaohsiung Confucius Temple to gain the tiger’s strength!

Kaohsiung National Science and Technology Museum
With a budget of over 7 billion Taiwan dollars, this museum is the largest in Asia and the second-largest in the world in terms of size. It has a vast collection and consists of 16 floors and 18 exhibition halls, mainly displaying applied science exhibits related to daily life. The building itself is designed with geometric shapes, giving it a unique and innovative architectural appearance. As the largest science museum in southern Taiwan and the second-largest in the world by area, the Kaohsiung National Science and Technology Museum offers many interesting and practical exhibitions, such as earthquake simulation rooms and virtual genetic experiments. Don’t miss the chance to visit this fascinating place!

After a busy day of sightseeing, head to the famous Cijin Seafood Street to satisfy your hunger with delicious seafood. The wide variety of dishes here will please even the pickiest of eaters. Just remember to check the prices before you order. Enjoy fresh seafood from the stalls and share a tasty meal with others in the lively atmosphere!
