Kenya offers an e-Visa system that simplifies the visa application process for travelers from most countries. Follow these steps to apply for your e-Visa:

  1. Create an Online Account
    • Visit the official Kenya e-Visa website: http://evisa.go.ke.
    • Click on "Create an account" and complete the registration process.
  2. Log in and Select Immigration Services
    • After logging in, choose "Department of Immigration Services" from the menu.
  3. Submit an Application
    • Select "Submit Application" to begin the process.
  4. Choose the Visa Type
    • Single Entry Visa (for short stays, business, or tourism).
    • Transit Visa (for stays under 72 hours).
    • Courtesy Visa (for official or diplomatic purposes).
    • Options include:
    • For general visitors, choose the Single Entry Visa unless transiting.
  5. Review Requirements and Instructions
    • Carefully read the instructions and requirements for the chosen visa type.
  6. Prepare Required Documents
    • Invitation letter from the host company or business sponsor.
    • Copy of the companyโ€™s registration.
    • Additional documents may vary depending on your purpose of travel.
    • Submit the following documents (examples for business visitors):
    • For tourism, you may need accommodation details and proof of return travel.
  7. Fill Out the Application Form
    • Personal information.
    • Passport details.
    • Travel dates and purpose of visit.
    • Contact and accommodation details in Kenya.
    • Provide accurate details, including:

  8. Pay the Visa Fee
    • Use a valid credit or debit card (Visa or MasterCard).
  9. Receive and Print Your e-Visa

    • Log in to your account to download and print the e-Visa.
  10. Present the e-Visa at Entry
