PROJECT INTRODUCTION
Protect the Sea of Nemo and Dory!
This project is a volunteer activity to protect the marine ecosystem of Bali, Indonesia. You can help protect various endangered marine ecosystems, including clownfish (Nemo) and blue tang (Dory). Your participation will be the first step to preserving Bali's beautiful sea for a long time.
Protect Bali with your own hands! Let's take care of the beautiful ocean together.
In the sea of Bali, you can meet the clownfish, made famous worldwide by the movie . However, due to their cute appearance, clownfish are also popular as pets and were listed as one of the endangered species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature in 2009. This is because the coral reefs, which are the natural habitat of clownfish, are endangered due to climate change and environmental pollution. The crisis of marine life does not end with one species but leads to a chain reaction causing bigger problems.
Please join us to ensure today's sea remains beautiful tomorrow! Your helping hand can help ensure that the stunning sea of Bali can be enjoyed for a long time to come.
* There is a separate schedule prepared for those who are majoring in the field or wish to learn more deeply. If you wish to participate in the separate schedule, please contact us individually. (Contact: koreagapyear@gmail.com) |
Experience and enjoy the traditions and nature of Bali while starting your rewarding volunteer work.
In beautiful Bali, catch both volunteering and traveling, two birds with one stone! The number of people participating in voluntours, which combine volunteering and travel, is increasing worldwide. While doing meaningful volunteer work to save Bali's sea, you can also experience local traditions preserved by the residents, challenge yourself with snorkeling in the blue sea, and have twice as much fun.
If you want to have a unique time rather than the same Bali trip as everyone else, start your voluntour right now! Spending time with people gathered for volunteering will not only heal your heart but also leave unforgettable memories.
Enhance your English skills and build confidence while staying with international friends.
What if it's hard to communicate due to lack of English skills while staying in Bali? There's no need to worry. The local staff in Bali are very friendly and communicate kindly using simple words, fun body language, and translators, staying close to the foreign volunteers. Moreover, the global volunteers you will be with are also kind and considerate, warmly looking out for each other. Hanging out with friends will make even minor mishaps an enjoyable part of your trip. Before you know it, you will find yourself happily chatting with foreign friends, overcoming the language barrier!
Q. What's good about voluntours? Voluntours are a combination of volunteering and traveling, closer to traveling with volunteering rather than focusing solely on volunteering. It's a special time where you can gain more experiences and enjoyment than devotion and passion. Since voluntours can be enjoyed by everyone, you can have an even better time participating with family and friends. Many families with children participate too. Give your kids the opportunity to see the big world. Also, the friendly local staff accompany the entire schedule to ensure you have a good time, so everyone participating in the voluntour can spend a very comfortable daily life. Fully enjoy the joy of voluntours in Bali! * This project is open to participants aged 12 and above. |
