    PROGRAM PROVIDER INTRODUCTION

    Institution Introduction

This institution is a leather workshop that prioritizes simplicity. We aim for high quality and reasonable prices, conducting every process from cutting to finishing by hand.

We primarily use vegetable-tanned leather, allowing users to experience changes in leather color and surface over time, influenced by habits, environment, and time.

In addition to one-day classes, we also provide corporate and school workshops. While we don't have a separate showroom, you can view samples and products made for production purposes, and observe the production process firsthand.

Here is a message from the local institution representative
"Our workshop is in a traditional stone house where my grandmother lived. We renovated it in 2018, and officially began operating as a workshop in 2019.
Because we maintain the old stone house as it was (both inside and outside), visitors may find it a bit inconvenient to remove their shoes upon entering. However, it's a warm space where the wind and sunlight linger.
We hope that during your internship here, you can experience happiness away from daily routines, leaving behind any complex thoughts."

    PROGRAM LOCATION INTRODUCTION

    Location Introduction

ㅣ Location  :   South Korea, Jeju

Jeju Island, located off the southwest coast of South Korea, is the largest and most populous island in the country. It serves as a pivotal hub connecting continents like Russia and China, as well as countries in East Asia and Southeast Asia, making it a key focal point. Renowned for its stunning natural landscapes, Jeju is celebrated globally as a premier resort and leisure destination.

The entire island of Jeju is a vast tourism resource, offering a multitude of attractions. From the impressive emerald waters of Hyeopjae Beach to the dramatic cliffs of Jusangjeolli and the coastal walking trails atop Seongsan Ilchulbong, Jeju boasts natural landscapes that are truly unique.
Seopjikoji, known for its role as a filming location for dramas, continues to receive steady affection. Representative foods such as Hallabong oranges, black pork, and hairtail fish highlight Jeju's culinary appeal.
Visit Jeju Island, renowned for its breathtaking scenery in every season!

    ■ Recommended Travel Destinations

    1.Hallasan Mountain

Hallasan Mountain is located at the southernmost tip of the Korean Peninsula, standing tall at 1,950 meters above sea level, making it the highest peak in South Korea. Surrounding it are approximately 360 smaller peaks, creating a unique and striking landscape. The majestic presence of Hallasan, rising sharply in the center of the island, exudes a sense of both grace and rugged endurance. Especially renowned for its snow-covered winter scenery, Hallasan is celebrated as one of the most breathtaking sights, with its ever-changing natural landscapes captivating visitors and inspiring awe.

    2.Seongsan Ilchulbong

Seongsan Ilchulbong, unlike other peaks on Jeju Island, was formed by the eruption of magma underwater, resulting in its steep slope and distinctive crater shape near the sea. Over time, coastal sediments have eroded due to waves and currents, contributing to its current steep appearance. Originally an island separated from Jeju mainland at its formation, sedimentation of sand and gravel connected it to the mainland during low tide, creating a solid connection to the mainland now. The steep stairway leading to the summit of Seongsan Ilchulbong may leave you breathless, but you can reach the top in just about 20 minutes, so give it a try!

    3.Hyeopjae Beach

When it comes to recommending notable beaches on the western side of Jeju Island, Hyeopjae Beach undoubtedly ranks among the top choices. The sea here features a gradual transition of emerald hues that seem to slowly blend into the clear water, offering a healing experience just by gazing at it. At low tide, the endless white sandy shore, speckled with many seashells, stretches far and wide.

Hyeopjae Beach boasts a gentle slope, creating shallow waters perfect for families with young children. Pine forests provide shade, adding to its appeal as a vacation spot. Moreover, there are various cafes, restaurants, and accommodations nearby, making it a convenient place to stay and enjoy.
