Spanish, spoken in most South American countries, is considered one of the most attractive languages in the world and is a language that many people want to learn. In Buenos Aires, the birthplace of passionate tango in South America, try learning both tango and Spanish together. It will be a valuable time where you can learn about diversity while mingling with friends from all over the world who have gathered to experience South American culture.

PROGRAM ACTIVITIES

PROJECT ACTIVITIES

1. This project is conducted in Spanish and English .

English Requirement ★★ ☆☆☆

Since the main activity is learning to dance tango with an instructor, basic communication in English is sufficient to participate in the project.

Spanish Requirement  ☆☆☆☆

In tango classes, instruction may be in English or Spanish depending on the participant’s language skills, and since Spanish classes are also included, you can participate in the project without any pressure about Spanish.

2. Spanish classes are held in the morning, and tango classes are held in the afternoon.

 Morning Spanish Classes

- This project starts every Monday.

- Classes are held 25 times a week. Each class lasts 45 minutes.

- On the first day of class, a level test will be conducted to assign participants to the appropriate class, offering tailored instruction from basic to advanced levels. The first day will also include an introduction to the school facilities, an orientation, and a city tour after a lunch where you can interact with students and teachers.

- Classes are conducted in small groups of 3 to 10 students, providing many opportunities for individual participation.

- After completing the course, a certificate will be awarded indicating the participant’s Spanish level and completion time.

 Afternoon Tango Classes

- Tango classes are conducted at a tango academy with local Argentine students and various international travelers.

- Classes consist of 8 lessons each week, including both practical and theoretical aspects.

- Classes are conducted in either English or Spanish depending on the participant’s language skills.

- Each class is held in a group of 7-8 people and lasts approximately 55 minutes.

 Weekend Activities

You can participate in various activities according to your preferences. Use the weekends to explore Buenos Aires, Argentina!

Experience the passion of Buenos Aires by visiting a milonga (tango club) and show off the dance skills you’ve learned at the tango academy!

* Study Spanish in South America!

Spanish, which is spoken by over 520 million people across more than 20 countries and is the second most spoken language after Chinese, is used in most South American countries. With the growing importance of the South American market, the popularity of Spanish is increasing. Learning Spanish in South America, where the costs are lower than in Spain, offers a significant advantage, as seen in the increasing exchanges among South American countries.
