PROJECT INTRODUCTION
Hakuna Matata! The vast African landscape that inspired The Lion King is waiting for you. If your heart races at the thought of Africa's blazing sun, wide open plains, and untouched wilderness, then head to Botswana right now.
This project starts in Johannesburg, South Africa, located at the southern tip of Africa, and crosses Botswana on an exciting trucking adventure to explore the beauty of Africa in depth. Travel with friends from all over the world who have come to explore Africa and enjoy a unique journey over 16 days riding on a truck, unlike any you've ever experienced before!
Q. Traveling by truck? Really?! Traveling through the African wilderness by truck is called a trucking tour. It's more commonly known as an overland tour in other parts of the world. The rough roads of Africa's remote areas require sturdy and safe vehicles for safari tours. Thus, taking a modified truck that suits the African terrain to enjoy the leisurely natural environment and culture is incredibly popular in Europe. These trucks typically come equipped with essentials such as a refrigerator, water tank, and kitchen counter, making them perfect for travel and camping. Furthermore, the organization running this project has decades of travel expertise, ensuring that the truck is modified for maximum safety and comfort, making the journey enjoyable for all participants. |
Don't think that a remote trip means constant hardship and danger!
Only 4 days of the entire trip will be spent camping in the wild, while the rest will be in safely managed lodges (accommodation built for outdoor activities, combining features of camping, cabins, and the Korean pension style), so there's no need to worry.
This project is open to participants from their late 30s to over 40s, and even much older, so anyone, regardless of age or physical strength, can enjoy this African adventure safely and easily. Start your journey now!
Meet herds of zebras grazing lazily and elephant families seeking waterholes, and listen to the roar of lions in the distance at night. Over a quarter of Botswana is designated as a nature reserve, allowing you to experience the most beautiful and unspoiled natural landscapes to your heart's content. You can also add optional activities, such as flying over Africa in a plane or helicopter, making all your African dreams come true.
Experience a special time in the great outdoors that can only be enjoyed in Africa in Botswana.
Trucking tours may be unfamiliar in Korea, but they are incredibly popular in Europe. Many people choose trucking tours to enjoy Africa, so you will meet a variety of people through trucking.
Botswana trucking is organized in small groups of 4-12 people. Live with foreigners from around the world, become friends regardless of nationality, age, or profession, and experience a change of perspective as you break free from your usual thinking patterns with free-spirited international friends.
Don’t miss this opportunity to build special friendships with friends from around the world.
Many people travel to find their true selves. Spending time in unfamiliar destinations allows you to meet a new version of yourself that you would never encounter in your daily life.
Start your extraordinary days in Africa, completely different from your everyday life! Crossing the plains in a giant truck, gathering for meals amidst breathtaking nature, and falling asleep under a starry sky—these moments will offer you a chance to live a life you've never experienced before.
Through this unique way of life, take time to reflect on yourself, move forward, and grow in new ways. Imagine a different you! Your imagination will become reality in Botswana.
