PROGRAM LOCATION INTRODUCTION

LOCATION INTRODUCTION

Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina and the largest romantic city in South America!

In Buenos Aires, where the passion of South America and the delicacy of Europe coexist, people take great pride in their culture. The wide boulevards, with their old cafés and restaurants, as well as historic Spanish-style buildings and theaters, reflect Argentina's past as a powerful nation. The expansive squares and lush parks provide a space for relaxation, reminiscent of the tranquility we may have long forgotten in Korea. Buenos Aires is at its best in the spring season, from September to November, and autumn, from March to May, which contrasts with Korea's seasons.

| Location :  Argentina

1. Teatro Colón

Located in Buenos Aires, Teatro Colón is considered one of the best theaters in the world. Celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2008, the theater reopened in 2010 after three years of extensive renovations. Visitors praise Teatro Colón for its cultural experience, architectural beauty, and excellent acoustics. Be sure to check out the free performances! Once known as one of the top three opera houses in the world, how romantic would it be to enjoy an opera at the Teatro Colón, the Paris of South America?

2. El Ateneo Grand Splendid

El Ateneo is considered the second most beautiful bookstore in the world. It was transformed from the former Grand Splendid theater into a three-story bookstore. In the area where the stage used to be, there is a café, and various seating arrangements allow locals to enjoy reading comfortably before returning the books.

Find your own story at El Ateneo, a place where books and leisure coexist. A day in the world's most beautiful bookstore will be a precious experience.

3. Recoleta Cemetery

Recoleta Cemetery has been open to the public since 1822. It is the resting place of historical figures, including presidents, and is known for its Neoclassical and Art Deco architectural styles. Despite its eerie nature, it holds significant political, cultural, and historical meanings, attracting many tourists. It also offers a variety of sights and unique food options.

Located in the affluent area of Buenos Aires, Recoleta Cemetery resembles a small town rather than a traditional cemetery. Visit the resting place of Eva Perón, beloved by the Argentine people!
