PROJECT INTRODUCTION
Share your passion in hot and vibrant Ghana with sports under the blazing sun!
Play and cheer for the dreams of Ghanaian children who love sports. As long as you have a love for various sports, you're welcome! By sharing your knowledge, passion, and love for sports, you might discover the dreams of these growing children.
Ghanaian children are incredibly passionate about sports. They are enthusiastic not only about the nationally loved football but also about all kinds of sports where they can run and compete. However, despite their excellent passion and talent, very few children receive proper coaching to grow as athletes. Children need systematic training, team play experience, and teachers who can provide accurate and professional knowledge.
Give wings to Ghanaian children so they can soar towards their dreams! By witnessing the growth of talented children, you will experience how their passion energizes you as well.
Q. Why do Ghanaian children need sports coaches? A. Most children in Ghana lack opportunities for professional coaching. Schools have insufficient budgets for sports, and local clubs struggle to obtain the necessary equipment and coaches. As a result, many Ghanaian children enjoy and love sports but have few chances to experience professional play. Explore opportunities to teach children in various sports beyond Ghana's most popular ones like football, boxing, and basketball, including golf, tennis, hockey, rugby, netball, martial arts, athletics, and swimming. Your participation will help Ghanaian children learn new sports, become healthier, and discover their exceptional talents! |
An opportunity to gain practical coaching experience while teaching talented Ghanaian children! Participants will play a crucial role in teaching various sports to children, helping them develop their skills and improve their abilities.
Apply your coaching skills and training methods in real practice in Accra, Ghana, and learn different coaching styles by living with volunteers from around the world. This experience will enrich you with new perspectives and help you build a unique career.
Ghana boasts a better security situation compared to other West African countries. Thanks to its long-standing democracy and steady economic growth, it maintains a stable living environment. This atmosphere also affects the people, who enjoy a comfortable and relaxed lifestyle and welcome travelers with kindness and friendliness. Additionally, since English is the official language, communication with locals is convenient.
