PROGRAM INTRODUCTION

PROJECT INTRODUCTION

Experience learning English and working in Auckland, New Zealand, a city rich in natural beauty. This job training project allows you to work and gain employment through a working holiday in the rejuvenating city of Auckland. This project is essential for a successful working holiday!

New Zealand, a rapidly growing multicultural country, offers a variety of job opportunities for working holiday makers. Each year, New Zealand hires numerous working holiday makers, allowing them to work in various positions. Auckland, being the largest city in New Zealand, is a hub for many opportunities. Seize the chance for a successful working holiday in the heart of New Zealand, Auckland!

The minimum wage in New Zealand is NZ$22.70 (as of 2023), which is about 18,500 KRW. New Zealand boasts one of the highest minimum wages in the world, ranking 4th globally. You can work up to 40 hours per week, with the minimum wage guaranteed by local laws. Working full-time for a month could earn you over 3 million KRW at the minimum wage. Students participating in the New Zealand working holiday can find part-time or full-time employment suited to their English proficiency, allowing them to save a significant amount of money.
(*The maximum amount you can save may vary depending on personal expenses, work ability, job position, etc.)

Working in an English-speaking environment is a unique opportunity for personal growth. If you’re worried about your English proficiency affecting your employment prospects, don’t worry! The greatest advantage of this project is that it offers job training while learning English!

Every Wednesday, we review resumes and cover letters to help students find jobs that interest them. Additionally, students will receive professional coaching on essential interview questions and various question types to enhance their job-seeking skills. This will provide valuable insights into the New Zealand job market and be a great help to prospective working holiday makers.

If you have a strong goal of studying English and finding employment, we recommend the minimum 6-week program.
By setting personalized goals and receiving detailed feedback from consultants and professional coaching from instructors, your English skills will gradually improve. Additionally, job training will support you in securing employment. The gap year planners have personally visited the institutions, meticulously verifying their curriculum, job prospects, development potential, and safety.
(*Gap Year job training connects you with institutions that support employment, not direct job placement.)

Auckland’s English education institution boasts a 98% satisfaction rate and has a top-tier education system recognized by New Zealand's NZQA. The institution offers a program called "Enjoying English," which encourages students to use English in a more familiar and natural way. The institution is committed to enhancing English knowledge and communication through detailed counseling, aiming to address students' concerns and continuously support their growth. With a low percentage of Korean students, classes are structured to minimize same-nationality groups, facilitating faster English learning. Additionally, students will make friends from various nationalities and participate in a range of activities provided by the institution, creating wonderful memories in New Zealand.

New Zealand is one of the top five English-speaking countries in the world, including the US. Among these five, New Zealand is the least discriminatory and most friendly to foreigners. Moreover, the New Zealand government enforces the 'Code of Practice 2021,' ensuring that international students receive excellent care and safety. New Zealand is one of the countries with the highest safety standards for international students. The government’s strong commitment to non-discrimination and equal opportunity protects students. Auckland, with its diverse culture, offers a safe environment for studying, making it an ideal place for international students.

New Zealand, located in Oceania, has opposite seasons to Korea. While it is winter in Korea, it is summer in New Zealand. You can experience a summer Christmas in New Zealand.

Auckland enjoys mild weather year-round. From December to March, the summer temperatures range from 20 to 25°C, making it pleasant for travel. Even in winter (June to August), temperatures rarely drop below 5°C, though it is often humid and rainy. The greatest attraction of Auckland is its proximity to the sea, with beaches accessible within a 10-minute drive from anywhere in the city. Eastern beaches typically have gentle waves and shallow waters, ideal for swimming, while western beaches offer stronger waves and rougher waters, perfect for surfing. Experience the unique, safe, and relaxed atmosphere of Auckland, New Zealand, and enjoy its natural beauty while creating precious memories.
