PROJECT INTRODUCTION
The paradise on earth in France, Nice! features pristine white sandy beaches and crystal blue seas.
Located in southern France, Nice is a world-renowned resort destination thanks to its mild Mediterranean climate year-round, beautiful sea, and various festivals. The city is so charming that it’s nicknamed ‘Nissa la bella,’ meaning ‘Beautiful Nice.’

Located on the southern coast of France, Nice is the fifth largest city in the country. To the east, it borders Italy, to the south is the Mediterranean Sea, and to the north is adjacent to the Alps, making it an ideal location for diverse travel experiences. Additionally, the Mediterranean climate ensures mild weather year-round, making it a popular resort city visited by many.
Explore the various tourist attractions in Nice, wander through the old town, savor the traces of the past, and enjoy the beautiful beaches. Experience all that Nice has to offer and live out your dream life in France.

1. Nice Beach
With the hot sun, cool sea, sparkling sandy beach, towering palm trees, lined parasols, and smiling people, Nice Beach has nearly everything one could imagine for a resort. It truly deserves to be called a paradise. Enjoy swimming in the beautiful Nice Beach and take a leisurely stroll along the long promenade. The relaxed atmosphere will rejuvenate both your body and mind.
2. Nice Castle Viewpoint
The Nice Castle Viewpoint offers a breathtaking view of Nice Beach, and is a popular spot for those wanting to see the picturesque scenery of Nice. The cobalt blue sea, white sandy beach, and red rooftops combine to create a stunning vista. Enjoy this refreshing view in Nice and let it fill you with awe.
3. Nice Carnival
Held every February, the Nice Carnival is one of the world’s major festivals, alongside the Brazilian Carnival and the Venice Carnival. The carnival in Nice, extending from Massena Square to the promenade, is famous for its colorful and beautiful parades. The grand floats, vibrant flower-covered carriages, and various parade formations, including the famous flower-throwing event, make it a carnival filled with passion and joy. Join in the festivities of this lively carnival!

■ Payment by Installments
If full payment is difficult, you can pay a deposit of 500,000 KRW and the remaining balance within 2 weeks. Based on the date of the deposit, the process for confirming participation will proceed, and you will be notified of availability and quotas. It is important to secure your place early for your desired dates and duration! (No refunds once participation is confirmed)
* However, if the start date is approaching, the schedule for paying the remaining balance may vary depending on the situation.
■ Early Bird Discounts and Emergency Applications
We recommend applying for all Gap Year projects at least 3 months before the project start date to allow for the normal processing procedures and preparation period. Applications should be submitted no later than 2 months before the start date. However, if you need to apply urgently, you can use the emergency application service to expedite the process for an additional fee.
* While we will do our best to expedite the process, there are inherent delays due to communication with local agencies and confirmation of participation. Emergency applicants must cooperate actively with the Korea Gap Year team.
** Those who apply at least 180 days before the start date are eligible for an early bird discount.
