Program Introduction

Toronto is a city where immigrants from around the world preserve their own cultures and live while respecting each other's cultures. As a result, you can easily encounter cultures from around the world. You can experience diverse cultures throughout the city, such as the multicultural neighborhood Kensington Market, designated as a national heritage site, as well as Little Italy, Little India, Little Greece, and more. Toronto is also so close to the United States that you can take a bus to New York, making it truly a city where you can meet the world. How about fully experiencing living English and culture in vibrant Toronto?

Toronto is a place where you can properly learn North American English at a more affordable price than nearby New York.In particular, Toronto has long been made up of people from around the world, so methods of teaching English to those for whom English is a second language are highly developed. Moreover, Toronto's education system respects individual tendencies and is supported by teachers, offering the advantage of receiving systematic English instruction in a free environment.
When living abroad, the biggest concerns are often safety and the living environment, aren't they?Toronto boasts an excellent urban environment, having been ranked one of the world's most livable cities (EIU 2015).As a representative multicultural city, Toronto has a deeply rooted awareness of recognizing and respecting individual cultures, creating a welcoming atmosphere for foreigners with few discomforts over cultural differences. Also, just a short trip to the suburbs lets you enjoy world-famous natural attractions such as Niagara Falls. Leave behind the worries and stress of living abroad and enjoy learning English.
Worried about Canada's long winters? No need to in Toronto! The city has well-maintained snow removal facilities, and all buildings and the subway are connected by underground walkways, so daily life is not inconvenient. In particular, the city hosts various winter festivals and free events such as sledding and ice rinks every year, giving you many ways to enjoy the long winter. It is recommended for those who want to spend their once-in-a-lifetime winter in Toronto with excitement and fulfillment.

Exposure to English in daily life and through classes makes everyday conversation feel familiar. Activities and field experiences integrate language and cultural learning, deepening global awareness. Discussing in English and completing projects enhances critical thinking and communication skills. It was really helpful to have coffee or hang out with friends after class. Making many new friends greatly boosts social confidence. I learned to express and understand my thoughts and feelings more precisely. I learned a lot about Toronto's various cultural events and festivals. Project-based learning with local people teaches you many things. You feel proud when your English works outside the classroom. You gain the joy of having deep conversations with friends from diverse cultural backgrounds. You feel satisfied that your efforts lead to improved English skills. Improved English proficiency results in smoother communication. A broad perspective that respects and understands diverse cultures is necessary.
